How to use this rules sheet

Print this page (Ctrl/Cmd + P) before your game and hand a copy to each team captain. Set the browser print scale to 100% and the orientation to portrait — the rules below are formatted to fit a single page.

One-page Family Feud rules sheet

Setup

  • 2 teams of 3–5 players each, with a captain per team
  • 1 host with the answer board (TV, projector, or laptop)
  • 4–5 survey questions plus 5 Fast Money questions

Game flow

  1. Face-off: one player from each team buzzes in on the first survey. Higher-ranked answer wins control and chooses to play or pass.
  2. Play the board: the controlling team takes turns guessing remaining top answers. Each correct answer adds its points to the round total.
  3. Three strikes: three wrong answers ends the team's turn and opens a steal.
  4. Steal: the opposing team huddles and gives one answer. If it's on the board, they steal the round's points. If not, the original team keeps them.
  5. Next round: reveal all remaining answers and start a fresh face-off with new players.

Scoring

  • Round 1: face value
  • Round 2: points doubled (×2)
  • Rounds 3+: points tripled (×3)
  • Wrong answers earn a strike but do not subtract points

Fast Money

  • Top-scoring team sends 2 players
  • Player 1: 20 seconds for 5 questions
  • Player 2: 25 seconds for the same 5 questions, no duplicate answers
  • Combined 200+ points wins the bonus
